Terms of Use
Last updated:
[LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED] — this draft is written in plain language for review. Jurisdiction, liability caps and consumer-rights wording must be confirmed by a qualified adviser before publishing.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By installing or using MediTime you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy and the Medical Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
2. Personal-use licence
You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use MediTime on devices you control, for your own medicine reminders. You may not resell, redistribute, decompile or attempt to extract the source of the application, except where such a restriction is not permitted by law.
3. Information you enter
You are responsible for the accuracy of the medicines, schedules and times you enter, and for keeping them up to date when your prescription changes. Because records are stored on your device, you are also responsible for your own backups; uninstalling the application or clearing its data removes them.
4. No medical service
MediTime is a reminder and record-keeping utility. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, dosage recommendations or emergency assistance, and it is not a medical device. Decisions about your medicines remain between you and your healthcare professional.
5. Availability and technical limitations
The application is provided as it is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. Reminders depend on your device’s settings, permissions, power state and operating system, and the autocomplete feature depends on an internet connection and on the availability of the third-party service that hosts the medicine-name database.
6. Intellectual property
The MediTime name, logo, interface design and application code belong to Nazmul Hoque Nahin. The information you enter remains yours.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for a missed, delayed or duplicated reminder, for information entered incorrectly, or for loss of locally stored records. [LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED] — liability limits and any statutory exceptions must be confirmed for each market.
8. Changes to the service
Features may be added, changed or removed as the application develops — for example if accounts or cloud sync are introduced in a future release. Material changes to these terms will be reflected in the date above.
9. Governing law
[LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED] — governing law and the venue for disputes to be inserted here.
