Most reminder problems come from Android’s battery and notification settings rather than from the application itself. Start with the checks below — if the problem continues, send a short description of your device and Android version.
Reminders are not arriving
1. Allow notifications for MediTime Android settings → Apps → MediTime → Notifications. Reminders cannot be shown while this is turned off.
2. Turn off battery optimisation for MediTime Android settings → Apps → MediTime → Battery → Unrestricted. On Xiaomi, Realme, Oppo, Vivo and Samsung devices also enable Autostart or remove MediTime from “deep sleeping apps”.
3. Allow alarms and reminders On Android 12 and newer: Android settings → Apps → Special app access → Alarms & reminders → allow MediTime, so doses fire at the exact minute you chose.
4. Check Do Not Disturb and focus modes Add MediTime as an allowed app, or the reminder will be delivered silently.
5. Check the time and time zone Use the network-provided time. Changing time zone shifts when a scheduled dose is due.
Common questions
Medicine-name suggestions are not appearing
Suggestions need an internet connection because the medicine-name list is fetched from an online service. You can still type any name manually and save it without suggestions.
Will my medicines move to a new phone?
Not in the current release. Records are stored on the device and there is no account or cloud sync, so they need to be re-entered on a new phone.
How do I delete my information?
Delete individual medicines inside the application, or clear the application’s data or uninstall it to remove the local database entirely.
Can MediTime tell me whether a dose is safe?
No. MediTime only reminds and records. Questions about dose, timing or interactions belong with your healthcare professional — see the Medical Disclaimer.
